DCFC was formed when 20 worshippers on October 3, 1982 gathered for worship in the home of Rick and Ruth
Huang in Richardson. By faith, they worshiped together without a formal facility until the decision was
made to search for a permanent worship center. While in the process of searching for a worship center,
DCFC met at the Glenwood School each Sunday for about 10 months. Eventually, after much prayer and
financial commitment, DCFC moved into their first facility at 1111 W. Beltline Road in Richardson.
As more families joined DCFC, it became apparent that the facility was not adequate for a growing church so in the early 90's a building committee was formed to locate a new facility. As a result, in 1997, DCFC moved to its current location at 2640 Glencliff Dr. in Plano.
In 2001, by God's grace, DCFC planted a church near the Frisco/Plano area to meet the demands of a growing church and a migrating population. And in 2007, DCFC celebrated its 25th anniversary. We are grateful to God for leading us all these years and we pray for continual guidance as we embark on new challenges ahead.
Through the years, many have served DCFC well: Pastor Peter Au, Music Director Jui-Ying Chu, Pastor Moses Chow, Pastor Kingston Tong, his wife Ramona who served in the AWANA program, Pastor Samuel Chiang, Pastor Moses Yu, Pastor Lee-Ho Huang, Pastor Helen Ho, Pastor Michael Wong and Pastor Paul Tong. We acknowledge their faithfulness and dedication to DCFC.
1982年十月，十數位基督徒及家庭開始聚集在家中舉行主日崇拜，弟兄姐妹們渴慕主道，彼此關懷，熱心傳福音。如此不及一個月，人數驟增至六十位，家中不敷容納，乃轉而借用一小學聚會。蒙 神的恩典保守，信主參加聚會的人數不斷增加，終而購址建堂，正式定名，為一不屬任何宗派的獨立地方性教會。廿年來，每主日上午，從長者到兒童巳增長到八百多人聚會。蒙 神厚恩，於1997年二月購得較廣闊的現址， 便利事工發展。於2000年十月開始北區布蘭諾植堂事工，2002年元月愛運恩友堂成立，盼望福音廣傳。 除了中文崇拜、中文主日學之外，我們亦有英語崇拜，及英語主日學。先後也發展了十個團契，按年齡、語言、性質而分，每週定時聚會，享受主內的喜樂。
