AWANA Clubs International

Positively Active Christians (PAC)

Goal:

To reach boys and girls for the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Time and Place of Meeting:

Every Friday night from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM during the Plano School (PISD) Calendar Year at DCFC Fellowship Hall.

Age Groups:

Cubbies (3 and 4 years old):

This class is provided only to the parents/guardians who attend Friday evening church activity. Child needs to be full three years old, based on birthday, to qualify.

Sparks (Kindergarten through 2nd graders):

Based on current school grade when their class is assigned.

Pals (boys) / Chums (girls): (3rd - 4th graders):

Based on current school grade when their class is assigned.

Pioneers (boys) / Guards (girls): (5th - 6th graders):

Based on current school grade when their class is assigned.

Registration fee:

$10 per semester or $5 if join at mid-term. Two semester per calendar year.

Activities During Typical Club Meeting:

  1. Flag ceremony: The clubbers will present Colors, pledge allegiance to the American flag, AWANA flag and sing AWANA song.

  2. Handbook time: The clubbers will recite verses in the handbook to leaders.

  3. Council time: The clubbers will sing the songs and listen to the message. The purpose is to help the clubbers to understand God's truth.

  4. Game time: The clubbers will play games. The purpose is to encourage good sportsmanship and group spirit.

  1. All Clubbers:
    7:30 PM - 7:35 PM Flag Ceremony at Fellowship hall

  2. Sparks: (K-2nd grade)
    7:35 - 8:10 Handbook time
    8:15 - 8:50 Game time
    8:55 - 9:30 Counsel time

  3. Pals/Chums: (3rd - 4th grade)
    7:35 - 8:10 Game time
    8:15 - 8:50 Counsel time
    8:55 - 9:30 Handbook time

  4. Pioneers/Guards: (5th - 6th grade)
    7:35 - 8:10 Counsel time
    8:15 - 8:50 Handbook time
    8:55 - 9:30 Game time

  5. Cubbies I (3 years old)
    7:30 - 8:00 Play
    8:00 - 8:15 Story
    8:15 - 8:30 Handbook
    8:30 - 9:00 Craft
    9:00 - 9:30 Music

  6. Cubbies II (4 years old)
