WAYS TO GET INVOLVED WITH INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
ON THE CAMPUS OF UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS (contact Ray Cotton)


Friendship Partner
1. Friendship Partners - Build an ongoing friendship with an international student by getting together once or twice a month (having the student to your home for a meal; these are informal times - including them in what your family normally does.

International Christian Fellowship (ICF)
2. Food and hospitality - Greet students and/or periodically bring food for ICF or ISI special events.
3. Spiritual growth - Lead an evangelistic bible study or help disciple an international student.
4. Campus outreach worker - Spend time on campus and make friends with students. Invite students to ICF and other events.
5. Scholarships - Provide financial assistance to needy students who desire to go on trips and retreats or attend conferences.

Ministry Support
6. Telephone Outreach - Use your home phone for contacting students and/or volunteers.
7. Prayer Partner - Pray for the international students and for other needs of the ministry.
8. Database support - Help with the informational needs of the ministry using your computer.

Special Helps
9. Garage giveaways helper - Donate or help collect from your friends, used furniture and utensils which can be given to students.
10. Garage giveaway driver - Use your pickup truck or van to help pick up and deliver furniture to the storage facility and to student apartments.
11. Garage giveaway decorator - Help decorate our storage facility.
12. Airport Pickup - Be available to pick up students from the airport when they first arrive.

Temporary Housing
13. Open your home to a newly arrived international student for one to several days while they find their apartment.
14. Grocery Shopping Partner - Take students grocery shopping at nearby supermarkets or ethnic grocery stores.

Conversational English Partner
15. Meet once a week to help international students (single or group) practice their English.

Special Events
16. Facility Provider - Make one's home, lake house, ranch etc. available for a retreat or special event for international students.
17. Transportation - Help provide a vehicle (suburban, van) that could be used for student retreats.
18. Church Host - Being available to pick up one or more students who would like to attend your church.
