ANNOUNCEMENTS:
SUPPORTCURTIS.ORG – After battling cancer for over four years, Curtis
went to be with the Lord Monday evening, August 18, 2008. He will be truly
missed. We are accepting donations to DCFC on behalf of Curtis. Please include
in the memo “Curtis Randall Lee
Memorial Fund.” Proceeds will
benefit causes that were dear to Curtis. Continue to remember the family in your
prayers!
SUNDAY SCHOOL
– There will be no Sunday School for
the remainder of the month of August. We will resume in September.
MISSIONS – If you are interested in assisting Joann Weng on her
mission trip, please write the check to Adventures in Missions and on the back
of the check put “Joann Weng.”Send the check to her address: 3703 Trailwood
Dr., Richardson, TX 75082.
PRAYER

DEACON’S
BOARD – has
formed a Deacon Nominating Committee according to the church Constitution. The
members are 3 deacons of ’08: Jong-Shinn Wey(Convener), Joe-Fan Wu, Charles
Leung, and 4 church members: Shan-Wen Yan, Howard Liu, Mary Ong, Ming-Jy Wang,.
Any full-fledged member of the church can be nominated as a deacon candidate.
The nomination is effective only with the signatures of 3 members and with the
consent of the nominees. The list of the nominees should be given to Jong-Shinn
Wey by September 17th .
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES – (1) AWANA resumes on 9/5,
Children Sunday School Promotion is on 9/7, Children Choir resumes on 9/20.
